1. Did you have a book that meant a lot to you as a child?
Erm, obviously the Percy Jackson books. They are my babies and I love them.
2. Is there any author of book that you collect and will always welcome multiple editions of the same title?
Rick Riordan. Do you see a theme here?
3. Say that you find yourself judging a book by its cover (not that we ever do that!); what sort of covers do you go for? Are there any that are an absolute turn off?
Ooooo! Any covers with gorgeous dresses! Also covers with bright colors and tumblr-y illustrations.
4. If you could pick any imaginary animal to bring home to mom with an earnest, “Can we keep him??”, what animal would it be?
A unicorn. Not that they’re imaginary, of course.
5. Is there any book to movie adaptation that you simply refuse to watch? No way, no how, you’re not even giving them the opportunity to mess it up?
City of Bones, thank you very much.
6. What is the most unusual book you’ve ever read? (Plot, writing style, chapter layout, etc?)
The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner. And not unusual in a good way. It’s actually the worst book I’ve every read. It might just be me, but I enjoy having sentences and paragraphs and periods.
7. Is there any book or series that you’ve read that is so totally outside of your normal genre, but you loved it and would recommend it to others as a “take a risk!” type of book?
Angelfall by Susan Ee! I’m SO not a paranormal fan, but THIS SERIES IS SO GOOD I JUST CAN NOT ASDFGHJKLOQKAJSMDNCHDJ .
8. Do you have any bookish collections, or anything you covet and hope to someday collect? Candles, artwork, bookcases?
Um. not really.
9. What book has been on your TBR pile the longest, but you just can’t convince yourself to pick it up?
The Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula LeGuin. Just..too lazy.
10. You get a $500 gift card for all things bookish-do you run to your nearest bookstore and spend like a fiend? Or do you create pro/con lists (a la Rory Gilmore) to make sure you get just the right and perfect and wonderful bookish things? Or are you eyeing a particularly expensive bookcase somewhere?
As much as I aspire to be like Rory Gilmore, let’s be real here. I’m about to buy a whole ton of impulse buy books.

No problem, thank YOU for the kind words! ❤
Unicorns are awesome!!!! I love the Selection covers, but The Winner’s Curse cover is my favorite!

Congrats on the nomination! Loved reading your answers. 🙂
Congratulations! I LOVE unicorns!
THANKYOU FOR THE NOMINATION! xoxo
I watched the City of Bones movie, and it was sadly not very well executed. I really loved the cast, to be honest but I’m so glad they decided to make it into a TV series, I’m excited to see how well they execute it.
And I love Tumblr-y illustrations too!
Hehe. Nice. Completely agreed!

Haha!!!! No problem, and thanks so much!!!
I know, right. Unicorns rule!
I really don’t give people enough reasons to think I’m six.
Thank you so much for nominating us! Amy is so happy she might wet her pants, literally. Great answers! I hate the person who ever suggested unicorns aren’t real! Who do they think they are?!?!
Hehe. No problem, I was just wondering. 🙂 Awesome! Will do!
-Amy
Oops, I completely forgot to add that!!! Sorry!!! Sure, you should go ahead and answer those questions, They’re really fun!

I KNOW RIGHT!!!!!! I love Harry Potter, but I grew up with Percy Jackson, nothing can compare!
I love your answers, Becca! AND I KNOW PERCY jACKSON IS MY BABY TOO. Everyone’s childhood book is Harry Potter except mine is Percy Jackson! XD
I definitely agree on unicorns as well! And covers with gorgeous dresses on them are definitely appealing to me as well. (Take The Selection, for example) 😉 They’re just so pretty! I also like bright covers, although dark and mysterious ones (like the kind for paranormal books) are also a favorite. I enjoyed reading your answers! Thanks for the nomination! ❤
Unicorns unite!!! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop ranting about The Sound and The Fury…it was so BAD.
marathoning the Angelfall series is a great idea!!!!! The series is so good!
I chose a unicorn as well. I’m glad that I’m not the only who didn’t like The Sound of the Fury. The title, honestly is what got me to read the book in the first place, but it was terrible! The plot is nonexistent and I had no idea what in the world was going on. Generally when I read reviews for this book I come up with the conclusion that I’m really dumb for being unable to comprehend or some people just praise it because it’s classic literature though they really don’t know what the heck is going on either. On another note, I’ve heard good things about Angelfall so I recently added it on my to read list, though, I’m waiting for the last book to be released so I can read all of them at once. 🙂
